Power Ties Virtual Volunteering

Power Ties needs your help to create digital content for our students!  We are looking for volunteers to help us make three types of videos.  A brief overview is below, or click here for the full description including how to submit your videos.  This is an individual volunteer activity, so you can do it on your own time!  Please complete videos by 10/25.

• Career Vision:  Create brief (<60 second) video synopsis about your current career
  • What is your career field/industry broadly?  What is your specific role?  What is your area of study or training (post-secondary or technical)?  What are your typical tasks?
  • Check out examples of real-life videos here or get inspiration from TikTok!
• Job Applications:  Create quick (<30 second) video outlining 3 job application tips
  • Preferably at least 4 volunteers in HR, Talent Acquisition, or those with hiring responsibilities
  • Additionally, at least 2 volunteers delivering tips in Spanish
• Resume Writing:  Create quick (<30 second) video outlining 3 resume writing tips
  • Preferably at least 4 volunteers in HR, Talent Acquisition, or those with hiring responsibilities
  • Additionally, at least 2 volunteers delivering tips in Spanish
