When the COVID-19 outbreak began in March, the virus was lauded as "novel." We were quickly swept into discussions about what "the new normal" would look like. Six months later, life has been divided into "Phases" and our healthcare professionals are working overtime to prevent outbreaks, develop vaccines, and prioritize public health and safety.
Dr. Christopher Lege, Touro's Chief Medical Officer, will join Young Leadership Council for an open conversation on leadership in crisis. He'll share takeaways and lessons learned, as he and the entire Touro team adjusted, pivoted, and navigated the various challenges and changes within the pandemic.

About Dr. Christopher Lege:
Dr. Christopher Lege specializes in Internal Medicine and is the Chief Medical Officer of Touro Infirmary. After earning his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Lege completed his residency at Tulane Medical Center. In addition to his administrative duties as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Lege maintains a part-time clinical practice. He values the physician/patient relationship because he enjoys educating patients to help keep them healthy and focusing his clinical practice on preventative care.
