YLC Recycles - Community Pledge Month

July is YLC Recycles' Community Pledge Month!

Are you interested in contributing to a cleaner, greener New Orleans? Our Community Pledge Month begins July 17 and ends July 31. You can pledge by committing to a sustainable action or by making a monetary donation.

Many New Orleanians are committing to actions such as cleaning catch basins, giving up single-use plastic, or biking to work. Others are volunteering with nonprofits like Green Light New Orleans or YLC Assists.

Community members who are unable to contribute their time are choosing to support local charities or nonprofits with a financial pledge.

We want to know about your pledge, so we can inspire each other to make New Orleans more sustainable!

Get directly involved with Community Pledge Month by sharing a photo of your pledge by tagging @YLCRecycles or using #YLCRecyclesPledge. Don’t forget to include your pledge card by downloading a template to print and fill out or by using our virtual document. See what others in the community are pledging by joining our Facebook page.

All pledge participants will be entered in a raffle, with the winner being announced at the end of July. To qualify, you must register for the event. If you make a monetary donation to YLC Recycles, your name will be entered 3 times!
