YLC Recycles - Earth Month Challenge #2

Welcome to YLC Recycles' 1st ever Earth Month Challenge! This month, we have 6 challenges in store for you. Try them all at once or take it 5 days at a time, it's up to you. All we ask of you is to try your best and spread the word!

CHALLENGE #2 (Day 10):

I will turn things off when I am not in the room, such as lights, TVs and computers.

Why? Turning off the lights can help the environment and save money. Consider switching to energy-saving bulbs, like LED lighting. Learn more through Green Light New Orleans, a local nonprofit with programs that show that individual actions repeated many thousands of times can have a significant impact on our environment. Since 2007, they have replaced more than 600,000 incandescent light bulbs in the Greater New Orleans area with energy-efficient CFL and LED bulbs. Their website has some awesome educational info and inspiration!
