YLC Recycles needs YOU to be part of the wave to green Carnival.
The Krewe of Cleopatra is proud to lead the way as the first krewe to provide on-float recycling. They are excited to partner with Youth Leadership Council to provide this service for their riders. On-float recycling is just the first step in this Krewe’s plan to reduce negative environmental impacts, while retaining the joy and spirit of Mardi Gras.
YLC Recycles will meet on Friday, February 14 from 8 pm to 11 pm, to unload the float's recycling bags at the end of the parade route. Volunteers will receive personalized Cleopatra gift bags featuring sustainable goodies!
