NFL Huddle for 100

YLC is proud to partner with the NFL and the New Orleans Saints for the Huddle for 100 volunteer day, a part of the Saints Fantennial Celebration. 

The Huddle for 100 is a nation-wide day of community service, focused around volunteering for 100 minutes.

In collaboration with the City of New Orleans and the New Orleans Saints, we will be picking up the Neutral Ground along Claiborne Ave., between Napoleon Ave. and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, from 9 AM until 11 AM.

Time:

• 8:30 a.m.   Sign-In Begins

• 9:00 a.m.   Volunteer Orientation

• 9:15 a.m.   Transport to Beginning of Route

• 10:45 a.m. Transport to Ochsner

• 11:00 a.m.  Event Ends

Here is a helpful map of the Touro Campus.

• Location:  Ochsner Baptist Medical Center - 2700 Napoleon Avenue, New Orleans – Clara Lobby.

• Parking:  Please park in the Jena Garage, located on the corner of Jena St. and Clara St. Once parked, take the elevator to the first floor of the garage.

• Clara Lobby:  The Clara Lobby is located directly across the street in the main hospital. You will take a right once outside of the garage and go up the large group of steps across the street. From there, the Clara Lobby is located directly to the right of the entrance of the hospital, right before you get to the cafeteria. You’ll see two tables set for check-in.

• Waivers:  Waivers must be signed upon arrival.

Additionally: 

• T-shirts for the group to wear upon arrival.  Please be sure to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

• Water & snacks will be provided.

• Saints will provide a bus to transport the group to the beginning of the route from the hospital and back to the hospital once we reach the end of the route.
